What is a basket strainer?

Equipped with a practical flip-up lid, the Basket Strainer supports easy serviceability, thus reducing downtime and making the filtration process smoother. Dirty liquid is fed through the inlet, and, while traversing the sieve basket, it traps solids and other pollutants.

This type of filter strainer does not work satisfactorily at all times, however. It demands checking and cleaning every time a difference in pressure arises. This can be done only after the application of the filter is turned off and the filter is opened. Once checked, the strainer comes to an end, and, as it re-joins the system, the process starts again from zero.
